Our new brand video is in the works
After many hours of planning and conceptualization, the time had finally come in July 2025: our new brand video was being shot. We enlisted the support of NeverNoVisuals, and now we would like to give you a glimpse behind the scenes of two intense, creative, and exciting days of video shooting.
The video shoot took place in Linz, not far from Scoot and Ride's headquarters in Grieskirchen, and was spread over two days. Day 1 was all about the indoor scenes, with the focus on filming our My First scooter. The aim here was to capture clear images, controlled lighting, and lots of small details that would later convey the mood of the video. Aylin's living room was quickly rearranged, and soon nothing was in its usual place. Aylin is from our social media agency “Die Jungen Wilden” and kindly made her living room available to us—many thanks again for that!

Our two little stars in front of the camera were enthusiastic participants throughout the morning and afternoon, although they found the camera itself and the equipment much more interesting at times.
The second day took us outside, where the kids were able to unleash their full potential on our Scoot and Ride scooters. Happy laughter, exciting rides, and pure energy—the outdoor shots perfectly captured what our brand is all about: the joy of movement.
The morning was dominated by Highwaykick 1 Push and Go recordings with Johanna and her little daughter – a real ray of sunshine and a bundle of energy. Our team was a little bigger than usual that day, as our two interns Kathi and Jonas were also there to lend a hand – keeping the kids entertained and acting as Jan's right-hand man. In the afternoon, things got a little more dynamic, with the children dashing off on their Highwaykick 3S scooters and us struggling to keep up with the camera. Luckily, Jan had thought of everything and quickly put on his roller skates – so he could keep up and capture shots in motion. A real highlight – for the children, who tried to outrun him every time.
“I particularly liked the patience shown by the team. When working with children, you have to be flexible, and even though it was already clear that it was going to rain, the children had plenty of breaks to play during the day to keep their spirits up.” - Kathi
But the best thing about these two days wasn't the technology or the set, it was the joy in the children's eyes. Their laughter, their little races, the moments of pride when something looked particularly fast or cool – all of this reminded us why we do what we do. It is precisely this enthusiasm that we want to capture in our brand video and share with the world.
We are also particularly proud of our two interns. Not only did they help with the setup, they also looked after the kids, kept an eye on the equipment, and lent a hand wherever it was needed. Without their efforts, the shoot would certainly have been a lot more chaotic—thank you both!
Two days of filming sounds like work—and it was. But above all, it was two days full of creativity, team spirit, and lots of fun. In the end, we not only had great material for our brand video, but also little moments that we will never forget.
But now you can finally take a look at our new brand video:
