Some ideas stay with us for years - they mature, change and wait for the right moment to become reality. That's exactly what happened with the Highwaykick 1 Push and Go. The desire for a scooter with a push bar had been in our minds for a long time. A product that makes everyday life easier for parents and at the same time offers children maximum freedom of movement.
The first sketch: Back to the year 2016
Back in 2016 - just one year after the “birth” of the Highwaykick 1 as we know it today - the first drafts were created: a push bar attached to the seat, but also a concept in which the push bar was attached directly to the footboard of the scooter. However, the idea at the time was to use the bar not only for pushing, but later also as a handlebar mounted on the front of the scooter. An exciting approach, but one that was rejected. Nevertheless, this early prototype was an important milestone. It showed us that the potential was there - but also that there was still a lot to develop and improve.
A project that required patience
Developing a product that impresses in terms of design, function and safety takes time. A lot of time. Time and again, we have taken the project in hand, thought it through, discarded it and started again. Every 1.5 years or so, we have revisited the project - with a fresh perspective, new input and even more motivation. But one thing was always clear from the outset: security and stability had top priority and the product had to be finished before it reached our customers.
It wasn't until 2023 that the final design took shape. Everything was right - function, safety, design. The moment had come to finalize the project.
The Highwaykick 1 Push and Go
Whichever thought was at the forefront of our minds: if we use the Highwaykick 1 scooter as the basic product, then the popular 2-in-1 function - sitting and standing position in one - should definitely be retained. But this is exactly where the challenge lay: if the child is to be pushed standing up, the push bar cannot be attached to the seat of the scooter. Other manufacturers then only offer pushing in a sitting position - but we didn't want to compromise. Our solution had to allow both: pushing in the sitting position and in the standing position.
And today we can proudly say that we have succeeded - the Highwaykick 1 Push and Go is the only scooter on the market that offers exactly that.
Additional features - maximum comfort for young and old
A good product depends on the details. That's why we thought about how we could make the Highwaykick 1 Push and Go even more practical.
We wanted more than “just a push bar”. It is height-adjustable in 3 positions so that it adapts ideally to different body sizes of parents and the scooter can be pushed comfortably in an upright position. The bar can be removed without tools to enable the child to ride again without the push bar in a short space of time - and is just as easy to reassemble.
To make pushing the scooter even more ergonomic for the children, we added small footrests to the side of the footboard so that they can rest their feet comfortably. The footrests should be stable, but also easy to remove when the children are on the scooter without the push bar.
Proven and yet courage to try something new

The two popular trend colors in our product range, Ash and Steel, stand for modern simplicity. A new addition is Wildberry, a fresh, cool shade that ideally complements Ash and Steel and offers an alternative to the familiar Rose shade in the product range.
